They have been super slow every time I went there.

Try Ted’s Bulletin. Quick walk from the station, decent food, yummy desserts, and nice ambiance.

Can anyone suggest some good options? Would Dubliner be worth it — or even advisable given the time crunch? Is East Street Cafe a decent pick? Would familiar fast casual food be the way to go — since it’s at least fast and reliable? I’d be okay with Halal Guys, but table service and a quiet-ish place to chat would be ideal. Thanks!

Maybe check out pho 79 if you like pho. Quick, casual, table service and there are a decent number of seats. There is also a place called cafe Fili that serves Mediterranean. Never been but it seems popular with some outdoor seating.

Second Pho 79, really good food and they let you pay at the counter so you don't have to wait around to get the check.

Cafe Fili is a great option. We go at least once a week. East West isn’t bad either.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Pho 79 would be a great option — but it looks like they’re closed on Sundays.
I’ll mention Cafe Fili and Bistro du Jour to my friend — and see what she has a taste for. All of these choices look good!
