Of course, you can go anywhere.

You can go to any shop that is willing to work on it. It doesn’t have to be Tesla-approved, especially if you’re paying out of pocket. I recommend going to a Tesla-approved shop just cause they’ve probably done a million of these. Doesn’t hurt to shop around and get estimates, though.

The paint might be a problem and it will be prone to more cracking.

Can a normal body repair shop do Tesla? We had a small accident but I think the entire trunk area will likely need to be replaced since the trunk is bent and won’t close. It’s a 7 or 8 year old model 3 and we haven’t had to have it repaiired yet. Thanks.
