Honest question... Why shouldn't citizens intervene to prevent an illegal kidnapping? If they won't identify themselves or their agency then this is an illegal abduction of an innocent person and legally armed citizens are within their right to open fire to save the innocent person's life.
My friend who is an Iraq war veteran was out tonight walking his dog in DC and came up on this scene – with federal agents, including secret service, hassling a citizen and violating his rights while intimidating the public

In this video, (presumably) federal agents on the streets of DC, wrestle a man to the ground, tase him, hide their identities with masks, refuse to identify themselves or what agency they work for, and one suggests a political motive to bystanders
