Instructions say to bring all supplies to school.
We are happy to give supplies to classrooms/for sharing to others, but what are classroom supplies and which are personal? For ex. Does the class take the glue sticks and leave us some?
I ask because our DD has preferences for some of the supplies. We will buy if going to school but if she is using, then we’d get her preference.
At DHMS, but we got burnt on this one when the TA didn't want any of the supplies and was completely confused why we brought them to school. I still have supplies from 6th as we go into 8th. It looks like WMS has the same instructions as DHMS online. I'd maybe wait and ask the TA (or whatever WMS calls the homeroom teacher) at the open house next week?
We also bought a very standard issue binder when our son was going into 6th and he ended up switching to a different binder with a carrying strap. Which is to say, I'd also just not invest too much in her preference until she sees what she will use. Obviously, send her with paper, pencils, pens...but with room to change, if that makes sense?
