As in more leadership opportunities & equal treatment between the sexes ?? Which ones do you think view women in a more unequal or lesser light in regards to men?
Here's my take...
Off the top of my head:
Treats women more unequally:
- Southern Baptist
- Reformed Evangelical
- Calvinist/Puritan
- Jehovah Witness
- Pentecostal
Treats women more fairly:
- Roman Catholic
- Church of Latter-Day Saints (non-Fundy)
- Unitarian
- Episcopalian
- Charismatic Evangelical
- Presbyterian
- Lutheran
Thank you for your thoughts and views!!
I bet this list was put together by a Roman Catholic, who is told by their church how progressive it is.
The Catholic Church is not progressive. Don't kid yourself.
+1 Does the OP not realize that the Catholic church does not allow women to lead?
The church I went to is non denominational . They have female pastors who give sermons.
