Me sleeping with DD (only child) is not an option because she moves around so much . We usually try to book hotels with a king bed and a pull out sofa but not always available. We are at the beach now, booked a room with 2 doubles and DH hasn't slept well at all. Wondering if anybody takes foldable cots to hotels for a kid. Do they fit and do the kids sleep well? Of so any specific cot recommendations for an elementary age child?
I have a kid who can’t sleep with other people. We bring camping pad and put him on the floor.
+1 Do this. Also, I always pick a place with 2 queens not 2 doubles. DH and I also have a king at home and struggle in hotels but we can make a queen work. A double does really suck for 2 adults.
