I tried it only last year and really liked it. Especially with milk. It’s different. I still prefer black tea and coffee, but I also like to get matcha with its very mild grassy flavor from time to time.

I don’t get it either, and I like most things that people refer to as acquired tastes. I don’t find it grassy (I like wheatgrass) just sort of cloying.

It tastes like grass to me.

I love matcha latte. It's tastes rich and gives me a jolt of energy, without the astringency of coffee or black tea.

I tasted matcha cookies and they were pretty good. That said, I do not like green tea and don’t understand the fuss.

I first had matcha as a latte mix. It was delicious and energizing — without the caffeine jitters. I usually add a bit of nutmeg or cardamom and vanilla. I don’t drink coffee, so it’s nice to have something that I genuinely like that I can drink when I meet up with people “for coffee”.

I'm Japanese and have always hated hot green tea. But recently I tried an iced matcha latte and it wasn't that bad. Still not my favorite though. I live for Earl Grey!

I’ve tried it several times because I assumed I had to have gotten a bad one/had it at a place that doesn’t make it right etc…it literally tastes like grass to me. I think it’s disgusting. It looks delicious though!
