I recently broke up with my girlfriend because even though we both agreed 2 years ago that we wouldn't get married nor have kids she changed her mind. I get it people change their mind. Mine did not. I have been investing and I am doing okay, but it just some days I wonder what if I had twice my income. Sure I can achieve it in my field, but I need to be in the top 1% of performers and I am not.

I have no desire to get married, but I noticed that most people who are wealthy are married. I make $150k and I am 35. It seems to me that most men with my salary who are on their way to good wealth are married to someone who makes as much as them or more.
