You could try cranking the AC to help slow it down (and then kill it or capture to release outside).

Honestly I would try to just trap it in a room and not go in there! I don’t care if it’s the master bedroom, I’ll sleep on the sofa!

Kill it. If you can find an aerosol hairspray, you can “freeze” it’s wings and then kill it (do decrease your risk of getting stung.

There’s a wasp (I think) in our house. It has a skinny mid-section, so I think it’s a mud dauber. How concerned should I be? We have kids and cats.
