Op, it depends on your skin. You should know how much is too much for you.

The question is how much is ENOUGH for health, not how much is TOO MUCH. If you tan or burn, you've overstayed in the sun. But how much sun is enough?

Again, it’s different for everyone.

+1 it depends on your skin color. I’ve typically heard a general number of 15-20 minutes, but darker skin has a more difficult time absorbing/creating vitamin D

Might be a "good thing" for you, but it's absolutely not "healthy".

There is no one answer. Most people get way too little time outdoors. Vitamin D is needed for cancer prevention. It also helps protect against other conditions like MS. And being outdoors regulates your nervous system/sleep cycle.

Later your skin will look like leather.

Not at all. It’s a tiny bit of color.
Vitamin D is essential.

30 minutes per day, in morning or late afternoin.

I take my dog for a 25-ish-minute walk every morning without wearing sunscreen. Throughout the walk, I'm in and out of the sun and shade. I'm biracial (black/white), but my skin is pretty pale. I do tan easily. If I'm going to be outside for large periods of time, I use sunscreen.

I've consistently been hearing/reading ten minutes per day. OP a lot of people are vain and /or stupid.

Everyday I see people sitting in the sun or out running/walking in the sun without hats or sunglasses. I still hear people say that they need to lay out in the sun to get enough Vitamin D or is it an excuse to get tanned? How many daily minutes of sun is long enough?
