I don’t think it’s that “no one fears ICE” I think it’s that people still need to feed themselves and their families.

I do not think there are any reductions. If there are there was an oversupply and we still have an oversupply.
I got a quote from a Latino guy to do a whole bathroom. Actually I got like 4 quotes in the space of 6 hours that went from 8K to 2K. I did not respond to any of his texts and he kept going down down down.
It was a joke. What was he going to build the bathroom out of - glue and paper?
I stay away from all of them and just opted to do the work myself.
What a load of BS. He's not giving you quotes unsolicited. And people are not going down and down. You keep posting this and I'm not sure what point you are trying to make (up). That they are desperate?

I think what hurts most are the tariffs and creeping recession. In my Bethesda neighborhood, the upper end of the market is frozen (compare to usual, when it just takes some time to sell), and the low end of the market is still selling. But the interesting thing is that realtors are getting more desperate, sending emails about properties that went on market several weeks ago, and should have sold already if we were in last year's sellers' market. Construction that started last year is ongoing, but other interesting thing - I have not seen new starts at all, and that's rare in my neighborhood.
Plenty of ICE presence in Maryland. Unless you think Bethesda is representative of the whole state.
