This. If wasn't for the deck needing to dry, could have been done in 1 day even. Seems like the OP's handyman already tipped himself.

I don’t feel that this is a “tippable” service. If he went above and beyond for you, then sure give a tip but no obligation to IMO.

Tipping culture is getting out of hand. We tip in restaurants because they don't get the standard minimum wage.

Everyone else, tips are meant to be truly for exceptional service.

He cleaned the gutters, then power washed and sealed the decks. By himself, it was three 8 hour days total. He works for a service so I’m sure he doesn’t get all of it. What would you tip him?
