Usually we get an email newsletter in mid-August which includes a bunch of back to school info, including a list of new staff members. Mid-year staff changes are not usually communicated, unless it's the principal.
Not even staff changes that affects your kid? "New teacher in your kid's classroom and here's why"..?

Anonymous wrote:The principal communicates (he cares about staying in his job). It's the teachers that are hit or miss. Many don't bother or delay / drag out speaking to parents until their child is in grade trouble and it's too late to do anything about it.
