+1 FDA is gold standard worldwide as being the most rigorous.

Check for local milk banks. Your pediatrician can write a Rx. It will be $5-6 an ounce. Liquid ready feed formula is the only sterile formula out there.i would prioritize that over EU for the first 3 months.

Not RTD but neither is Bobbie. Have you looked at kendamil (organic or goat) or Nara formula?

I wouldn't do this but a lot of people do. You can find a peer to peer donor and get do it milk from another mom. Not pasteurized like milk bank milk and you have to have a lot of trust. But so many over suppliers with no freezer space. A friend found a woman in the human milk for human babies fb group and it worked great for her and her baby

I’m not this poster but the NICU my son was in said we could only use the ready-to-feed formula because it was sterile and reduced infection risk in preemies. We didn’t use powdered until he was about 3 months old.

EU formula is generally less regulated than the US. Formula is one of a very few areas where the US regulation is better than Europe. I will pray for DC.

A reputable source? You can fly to Europe to buy it, and then bring it home to use.

It doesn’t even matter what the regulatory system in the EU is. Sending it to the US is not regulated at all so it’s a crapshoot on what you’ll get, how it’s stored, etc. Supplement with rtf, that’s what’s safest for preemies. I know it seems like a big deal now but it’s not.

We had donor milk in the hospital but it isn’t available via the hospital after discharge home.

We are using my pumped breast milk + Enfamil EnfaCare NeuroPro (22cal).

My trust of FDA is almost zero.

I will start researching whether there’s a milk bank that I can access as an outpatient…

I need 22cal/oz preemie formula to supplement. Any reputable sources for organic EU manufactured preemie formula?

(If he could take term formula, I am fine with Bobbie. The only American formula manufacturer that I trust is Bobbie. Unfortunately, they don’t have a preemie formula.)
