We have really enjoyed Dear Sushi at Love Makoto recently. L’Ardente is also good. Bresca and Bazaar are also good.

What kind of food do you like?
We live in the Cap Hill area and Italian is usually a safe bet for most visitors so I’d recommend La Collina or Caruso’s.

It has been a long time since we've been out to dinner with another couple. We are meeting friends in a couple of weeks. Where should we go in the city? I don't want to go to the Wharf (it is a PITA all around) but anyplace else in DC is fair game. Where do you suggest. We aren't picky eaters. I would like to stick to 125/pp tops. (drinks, apps, entree, shared dessert)

We've lived in the city a long time but haven't been out and about in a bit so we are looking for what is new and delicious.

TIA.
