It’s not the end of the world and it’s not a forever job. If it ends up not being a good fit, you have a job while you look for a better fit.

Thanks, I plan on accepting it unless anything else pans out by then. I just wasn't sure if most people are taking salary cuts - though I won't really have to adjust my life too much with a 9% salary cut. Most places I've interviewed with have been 2-4 days in office, so also a little surprised by their 5 day requirement but it's not then end of the world.

I was laid off a few months ago from a government contractor a few months ago. I had a final round interview for a job yesterday where I would be making 9% less than my last job and would be in-office five days a week. Last job I was in office three days a week. Is this similar to other former Feds/contractors or are others doing better/worse? New company has slightly better benefits.
