Yeah, usually it's mostly the sauce but when you taste for doneness there is some flavor there. This has no flavor and adds nothing.

I bought some mini bow tie pasta from Amazon and it is really bland. I've never had bland pasta in my life. Is it made with inferior flour? I don't understand what can make it blander than other pasta. Yes, I salt the water. I'm thinking of just giving it to the food pantry.
