There’s a house in Silver Spring with a similar history - one owner and his daughter were murdered there and then the next owner was also murdered - unrelated random crimes IIRC. The estate of the second victim let it go to foreclosure and the bank had to petition the county to change the address before it sold.

The house the OP is referencing was under contract in about a week.

There’s no such thing as ghosts or curses or cursed houses, so I can’t buy something that doesn’t exist. So I guess, no, I wouldn’t buy a cursed house? Is that the correct answer?

I’m ok moving into a house where someone died of natural causes. But a murder home? Forget it!

Not enough bathrooms. No powder room. It would drive anyone to murderous rage.

Curses aren’t real. And I don’t think “policeman was injured” really counts as a curse. But I’m sure many people would not want to live in a house where a family was murdered.

Why would rebuilding the house remove the curse? Isn't it attached to the property and not the building?

Do houses hold curses? Or is the land cursed?

Since this house in Balt. burbs just sold, I guess it's okay to talk about. (I'm not a realtor.)
It is a nicely remodeled home, although still gray themes throughout. I think they should have torn down and rebuilt instead.
In 2008, a 15 yo boy shot and killed his whole family in the house. Then 2 years ago, police were called to house and a 24 yo man shot at and injured one policeman.
