I agree that it looks ridiculous. It's not only grooms, though. I see it on men at dressed-up occasions. I think they will all regret it, but it is especially regrettable on grooms who will have the wedding photos for the rest of their lives.
This is true. I saw it at a conference a few years ago now (when it was pretty new) and it looked so creepy I tried to get a picture of it. It's always with slim fit tapered pants and some kind of italian loafer.
It's definitely getting mainstream now. We're becoming immune, just like we did with their man-buns!
