48 and 49. Together 27 years. 2 kids (late elementary and middle school). We have sex on average 3 times a week, sometimes more, sometimes a little less, but always at least once a week.

50/50, took nearly two years off due to relationship troubles, but it’s been back to every two or three days.

After almost a week of no sex she starts having frustrating dreams and we both get short with each other. Good sex helps us stay connected.

We have a place that we go to on the weekends and there’s always a list of things we have to get done while there. This weekend after a margarita it just turned into sex and we had to double time it yesterday to get everything done before going home.

Every couple is different but for me, sex is an important part of our relationship. It may not be forever (we’re getting older) but its worth figuring out if its not working for you.

Have you considered couples counseling? After watching the series Couples Therapy I’d definitely try it.

What does the college kid being home have to do with your bedroom schedule?

Ugh. Maybe if no long days or work travel or kid stuff to do until 10pm. Damn hockey rink times

There is no average for us. Sometimes it is 4 times a week, some times it is 4 times a month, sometimes once a month. Sex is important to both of us. If it has been more than a week, then we have a conversation about it. What is needed to get the gears going? Perhaps one person had a cold, one person is stressed at work, one person needs to feel reconnected, etc. With that being said, the last time we had sex was a week ago. I have been battling a uti that turned into a kidney infection. We talked about it. I made sure to flirt with him today to let him know that other areas on my body is available and he took to that very well 😉 don’t get stuck on numbers. Sex is important but life is too.

2x per week more or less. 50s man with 40s woman. Both divorced and live 20 minutes apart.

Good for you.

2x a week - two little kids. Hoping to ramp up to 3x when baby is sleeping through the night.

Dw here. Not often. Once a month maybe. 54/57. Married. I felt guilty for awhile at my lack of interest but now dh has ED issues so it’s not as big of a sore point. He likes to talk about sex a lot, but the reality is he seems fine only having it occasionally.

What’s your age and marital status too?

It’s come to a standstill in my relationship, and it’s very demoralizing.
