Thank you. I am thinking about messaging the counselor next week, do you think that'll be too much? He literally lands at 8 PM on a Sunday night.
Too much.
What day is your school open house?
Usually, their social media will blow up when the schedules are viewable online, either late in the evening before open house or the morning of open house.
He will just need to log into Schoology or SIS and he will be good to go.
Open House is on the 14th and here's a caveat: he cannot access any FCPS stuff while he is abroad, it's blocked
He can check when he lands. Maybe you should have booked his flight back earlier than the day before the first day?
Maybe his father should not be in a hospice. How dare I book the only available flight back and wanting DS to spend as much time as possible with his dying father? Shame on me.
Feel better now on your high horse?

You will be able to see it too.
Just login to your own SIS or schoology. It will be there by Open House.
Or he can use a VPN. Most kids are well versed in this.
