Only- they don’t win in most married affairs. The guy pumps and dumps - never takes them out in public. Affairing down is a very real thing.

Nonsense, OP. Young people tend to find singles more easily, because fewer people in their age group are married or partnered. Older people are attracted to what they can find, and the people they find may already have partners. It's just statistics. There is no difference in behavior between men and women in that regard.

Guy here - so take this with a grain of salt but I think its a complex mixture of multiple things. Here are a few that come to mind:

1. Women want what other women have when it comes to guys. The fact that another woman would marry him makes him automatically more desireable.

2. Women want to feel like they’re so beautiful that men Just.Can’t. Resist. Them. Stealing a married man is the ultimate confirmation of how beautiful they are.

3. If they just want sex, a married guy isn’t going to tell anyone.

4. Someone mentioned this above, but a guy who is married is automatically somehow a prize, pre-vetted and not creepy. He’s clearly marriage material.

5. They’re also easy targets - especially if he has kids. Deep down they know that if he’s married the sex sucks or is non-existant.

6. The sex will be good. He’ll probably f her like he’s on jail break and she owes him money because of number 5.

7. They may have some self-sabotage issue because of their perceptions about themselves.

What kind if women do you know? I'd never go after a partnered man and I don't think any of my friends would either. I'm fairly certain they would be judged in our friend group. You need better quality friends.

Men do the same as well. I think the only thing holding men back is the fact that men are violent and it could turn ugly very quickly.

Narcissism is a gender neutral. We just tend to associate it more with men, but a lot of women are as well. I am sorry but any woman who knowingly tries to go after a man who is in a relationship is a narcissist.

We call men who after partnered women narcissists without hesitation. Let's do the same with women.

This is an interesting question..I don't look at other women. I love my wife..I have never cheated on her and/or have her signs that I don'tpbd her.

Having said every time I speak to another woman in a friendly or longer than a few minutes he demeanor changes. And if I speak again to the same women at another gathering then she gets passive/aggressive with me about her. She won't directly say she doesn't like that woman talking to me, but she will make indirect comments about her being a bit too interested in me. I think it's just female nature. It's harmless.
