I bought my own kids something for $200 a month. They only go to yearly check-ups.

She was just laid off from the government contractor she has worked for, for several years. While she is interviewing, does anyone have any recommendations for an insurance co./policy?
I read that she may be able to get COBRA under my policy for 36 months, but I need to call my insurance company (BCBS) to confirm. Does anyone have experience with COBRA in this situation? Thanks.
Just go without it at her age.

Otherwise, COBRA and start doing your research on different plans offered in the marketplace.
Your kid is presumably in young and healthy so minimal coverage and the lowest/cheapest tier should suffice until she gains employment.
