OP here - Love this post! Thanks for sharing that the schedules dropped and your (positive) experiences in the league 
I'm not sad that some of our away games are as close as our home games!

NCSL schedules were posted early. I had two kids play in NCSL -- one was a college All American and the other a three-year D1 starter -- so don't listen too much to the board. Enjoy your free time and fatter wallet.

Thank you for the support! Go NCSL kids! (I have a Q4 kid and lurk on these boards sometimes - boy have I been schooled in just how bad the soccer is that my kid plays In NCSL first division (it isnβt) π

You got it right, the minority of parents are the ones pumping the soccer debate as if anyone on this blog will EVER have their kid play professional soccer for ant length of time for real money. First year AI trained college students will make more than 80% of the so called "professional soccer players" in the lower division clubs. But truth and honesty not why most come to DCUM. Hope your kid has an awesome season.

No shame! I'm super excited that my U11 2nd team player (first div for NCSL) gets to play all localish northern va teams instead of driving all over like the pre-ecnl team will.
