I think any company advertising anything to do with mold or “mold gear” is a scam.

3k seems very reasonable. Do you know how expensive dry wall is currently? And labor?

We have excessive condensation on an air duct which led to some mold behind drywall and along floorboards. Fixing this would be a one day job requiring cutting out drywall, wrapping ducts, replacing drywall, and of course with proper mold gear. I have an estimate from a company I used and liked before of $3K. Does that seem right or would you get other estimates? I know mold remediation is an area with a lot of fraud so inclined to use the company I’ve liked before but wanted to gut check that price estimate. Thanks!
