PP here,

Forgot to say! We've never noticed a real difference in one leaking vs the other. They seem comparable to me?

However, DS isn't saturating diapers like he was 1-2 years ago. So I doubt he'd leak out of much anything. He still wakes up with a wet pull-up most mornings, but it's not a TON of pee, so it's not been a huge concern for us.

We do both, for my 5 year old. Generally when we go on trips or are staying over with family, he wears nighttime pull-ups in 5T-6T.

If we're at home, we let him choose. Just varies night by night. I'd say it's about 50 - 50 whether he chooses to just put on a pull-up before bed, or if he wants to wear one of his brother's diapers. If he's just around us (his family) I've never cared either way, just part of our nightly routine.

We use the Huggies Night-Time Pullups for our very skinny 6 yo. We have tried regular overnight diapers but pullups are so much more convenient for her and us and are easier for her to use if she does use the potty at night. For some reason Goodnights and Ninjamas were a disaster last time we tried them (maybe we got the wrong size).

You use the training pants or the overnight diapers?

They are called training pants because they pull-up but they are actually diapers. They recently changed the name to training pants for branding purposes only.

Ok, understood. We’ll try these and see if they’re better than the Pampers pull-ups. Otherwise, we’ll try actual overnight diapers. They’ll just be more annoying to put on him!

Good luck! We still have leaks from time to time, but usually only if she drinks a lot of water before bed. She also trashes around a bunch in her sleep.

The night time pull ups by the actual Pull-Ups brand always worked best for my kids.

Buy the ones that fit and don’t leak.

It never ceases to amaze the lengths people go through to put their kids in a diaper with the right branding. You’re willing to have your kid wake up with a soaked bed for branding. Whoever created the advertising campaign for pull-ups is a genius.

Um I don’t care about the brand. I just want to know which ones work well and would likely fit a skinny kid.

Try Ninjamas. We never got leaks with those.

At that age I had to use good nights and a diaper doubler which is like a giant sanitary pad.

Try adding Spoosie booster to his pull-up. Or we have had good luck with Huggies diapers with a booster for overnights.

We’ve been using Pampers Easyups for overnight, but my son has been leaking through them recently. I’d like to buy some overnight pull-ups or diapers, but I don’t know which brand is good. He’s skinny at around 30 lbs, so I need something that works well with skinny legs. What do you recommend?
