Hopefully you have good savings because you have telegraphed your lack of commitment. Severance isn’t owed - people who get it either negotiated it at their start or they are really lucky.

New owners, new C levels, perfectly decent people but I don't want to stick around. So I have been aggressively using vacation and personal days because when I go, you don't get paid for them. When you have a foot out the door, difficult to hide. But I am getting indications they are looking to bring in their own people anyway. Question: its impossible to time when an offer will come in. So what if they pull the lever ahead of when I can?
