This is like the story of Lloyd Bentsen going to apply for a mortgage and when they asked his employer he said the Treasury and when they asked his job title he said secretary and the person was like how are you going to afford this house on a secretary’s salary.

A former colleague of mine was a Special Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary and then was promoted to Special Assistant to the General Deputy Assistant Secretary.
