Popeyes is always the answer. It’s low end, but it’s good for mass produced chicken.

Gas station food? Ugh.

Actually, Yum. Popeye’s is better, but Royal Farms is quite good.

Its not southern style, but korean fried chicken is far superior to any fried chicken IMO!

For real chicken black folks like - salty and crispy go to Popeyes. For white folks (bland chicken), go to Amish market. Royal Farms isn't too bad either but salty.

I agree with Popeyes. Depends a bit on the location (check reviews).

Even the Washington Post food critic loves Popeyes.

You mean the same Honeymoon Chicken that had dozens of rats scurrying across food prep areas? https://www.tiktok.com/@datboyheard/video/7295537505539984682

Or did you mean the Honeymoon Chicken whose owner (and part-time real estate developer) build unlivable houses and refused to fix them or compensate the buyers? https://www.washingtonian.com/2022/04/13/a-real-estate-nightmare-on-foxhall-road/

Yeah I won't be patronizing that Honeymoon Chicken and neither should anyone else.

Where are you? Ellie Bird in Falls Church has a new to-go chicken spot next door called Side Chick.

Hi - Where is the best to-go fried chicken? I'm hosting a Southern themed brunch but I don't want to make the chicken.
