Yup. I commute 5 days/week and it has been so much worse since RTO. This month has been great - but I am dreading September.

As someone that drives every day, yes, traffic got significantly worse when the government went with the RTO plan. I will say though, Monday and Friday are lighter. Wednesday is probably the worse day.

I suspect DC used to keep commutes in check with metro and slugging etc. but post pandemic most people drive alone and all bets are off.

RTO is also cited as a factor as private industry didn’t have necessarily all return in lockstep.
