I did what I needed to do to keep myself on good terms and to keep my job. If my higher ups wanted to destroy the organization, there was nothing I could do about it. Eventually I just quit without having a job lined up. Was unemployed for 3 weeks before getting one that paid 40K more a year, so don't give up hope.

You worry about yourself, not the organization while you search for a new job.

It's sounds awful and it felt awful, but that's pretty much the advice I got in a similar situation and it was the truth.

I did what I needed to do to keep myself on good terms and to keep my job. If my higher ups wanted to destroy the organization, there was nothing I could do about it. Eventually I just quit without having a job lined up. Was unemployed for 3 weeks before getting one that paid 40K more a year, so don't give up hope.
