Seems like anything would be "worth it" compared to protracted unemployment.

You're not entering into servitude, you can always move on if you find something else you find more attractive.

It is easier to get a job if you have a job. Budget and save and cut all random expenses (Netflix, coffee out, etc).

Compared to unemployment (ie 0 pay and no benefits)? How is this even a question!!?? Or do you have another option you failed to disclose.

We need more info. Have you been looking this whole time and this is your first offer? Aside from the pay does it seem good? Logistics and content wise? Can you afford to keep looking?

I lost my job with a federal contractor due to the DOGE cuts. 6 months later I have an offer for 15% less pay and worse benefits at a new-ish company that seems to be growing so there is the potential for the salary to increase. Worth it?
