They have different areas - a lot of free building areas where you can build whatever, or you can build a car and they have ramps for the cars to go on, stuff like that. There is a movie theater that shows short (like 15 minute) movies with 3D glasses. There is a ride where you all get a blaster/laser type gun and you shoot stuff in the background (if you’ve ever been to Hershey Park, it’s like the Reese’s Cup Fusion, but smaller). There is an indoor play area/structure, and a small cafe. There’s also a Duplo area for little kids, a bunch of really cool Lego builds that you can look at and they are DC-themed so there’s the White House and the Capitol building and stuff, and some interactive type games. Everything is included in the price other than obviously any food/drinks you get at the cafe area (I think you can pay more for a ticket and get like, a little Lego set and some photos but you don’t have to). My kids thought it was fun. I’d say best for 10 and under. Older than that they might think it’s a little juvenile.

The one in Springfield is fun for 1-2 hours for kids under 8. A level above a regular store. There are others that are quite a bit better. For example I went to one in Japan that was a fantastic indoor amusement park good for 3+ hrs and maybe a return visit.

They are great fun. There is an actual amusement park ride where they can shoot to score points, a 4D movie giant theater, a special room where a mini build is led by a Master Builder, a giant open climbing play scaffold area, an area setup to free build race cars to race on giant ramps, another area where you build something and then use computers to ‘send’ it up into space on big projector screens, a small section for toddlers, a pizza cafe, a section to see elaborate builds lit up, and a gift shop. We loved it and were quite surprised with how large it is considering it is in the mall. (Philly and Springfield).

Either/both. What are they? How do they differ, if at all?

I can't tell what exactly it is. What do you do there? Also, we go to indoor play places (like Scramble) but we usually get sick afterwards. Is this a "you're definitely leaving with the plague" sort of place, or not as much?
