Always tough decisions for elder care. They are not thinking about you or the environment they are in. If you can’t readily grasp that then you need help.

What do you mean by fighting? Some families talk loudly, curse, or otherwise communicate in ways different from you. That may be normal for them.

Have you thought about getting some help? This is an abnormal amount of anxiety and thought into this and I imagine you're like this in a lot of areas in life. You don't need to live like that

That’s what I wanted to do! But even acknowledging them and saying I needed to be where they were was pretty big for me. I try to stay out of any trouble, esp if ppl look trashy

If that had been me, I would have said “hey, can you take this somewhere else?” in a neutral, firm tone. Whenever I have had a similar issue, that’s what I’ve done and it works.

…right outside my window. Two adult siblings and their elderly mom fighting about mom’s care. Went on about 15 mins, yelling and all. I had to leave and wait outside for my friend to pick me up so I had to go right past them (brother and sister blocking a walkway). I asked if all was ok (yes) and said I’d be waiting for my friend here and started lingering (because that’s where my house is). They would not leave!!! I finaky sat on a bench next to where they were and then they finally moved and continued their argument. Now I am overthinking, what if they are mad at me and can hurt me in any way (just my anxiety talking probably).

At the same time I am so mad. Why can’t ppl take their business inside.
