We thought the second was interesting and decided to drive by it to see. The front looks nicer in person, but the roads of the development it is in made no sense. It seemed to us that the front of the house also directly faced a small inner courtyard, rather than a street.

We could not imagine how guests could visit or where they would park, etc.

For how much do you think they should lower to? First one to 1.4? Second one to 1.7? Cosmetic changes should be easy but not so much for structural ones...The first one is old so not sure if there are hidden problems.

I like the second one a lot, despite the sterile staging. With walls that are that white, to have all that blindingly white furniture was not a good move. I also found the 9 million photos of the front door to be annoying. Like I said, I like that house a lot, but for me, the dealbreaker on that house would be the lack of backyard.

For the first one, the staging is awful. It’s a combination of outdated elements, bareness, and cramped furniture.

They need to do things like remove all those valances, remove the pots and pans off the wall, and remove some of the chairs. The yellow in the dining room is a dated color. One of the bedrooms looks tiny and like you can’t even fit a bed in it I don’t know if that’s a function of the photograph or if it’s actually too small for a bed. The backyard looks like a bust and a few pansies or something would have brightened the space. Also, don’t take outside Listing photos in the rain.

Any ideas about these two houses? Seems to be reasonably priced in decent neighborhoods, but on market for quite some time
