You may have some luck buying chairs on FB marketplace and taking them to reupholster and spruce up. I paid about $300 per chair last year for a significant overhaul; if you get chairs for <$100 each, that makes sense.

Eh- I bought a Heywood Wakefield original dining room table and chairs and they are not all that.
