We've been looking forward to getting an easel and art supplies for the little one who is not quite 3. Got a Hape one after a lot of browsing and a few endorsements — and welp, the drawing area feels too small. The product listing said it's 19" square but they must have been counting the frame because no way. It's more like 15" square. Little one quickly fills up the space when painting and there isn't much room to really mix things up with our magnetic letters.
Anyone have recs for a kids' easel with a larger drawing area, that you have used yourself?
We like an easel over a table for now, for the smaller footprint and relative portability. Because it's a mixed-use room, that sometimes serves as a guest room, and so we need an easel I can easily temporarily move to another room.
