You’re definitely the only woman who thinks cocktail/wine breath is better than beer breath OP. Both are disgusting. Change your ways.

Onion breath is the worst.

Any kind of alcoholic breath is gross, OP. You thinking wine is somehow better than beer is ridiculous.

Best thing to cover up beer breath is a smoke, but the restaurants don't allow that anymore.

Wine breath is just as gross

I agree OP. I've made clear to my boyfriend that if he drinks at beer, he's not getting any action from me that night. I'm just not attracted to someone who smells like beer.

Touché but I’d argue beer breath is especially revolting. While wine and some spirits and seltzers have a milder and sometimes even a sexy odor. Beer breath smells so totally trashy and old man boomer-ish to me. How does it not kill any romantic vibe? I guess I’m wondering if most women do find it revolting but just sort of try to look past it?

Because the women also have beer breath? (Agree it’s gross).

Increase your distance when you’re around folks who drink.

We drink cocktails and wine but not beer. I acknowledge I’m hyper sensitive to beer on someone’s breath. I think it’s revolting. May I ask the rest of you: Does it bother you at all when your husband or someone you’re dating has beer on his breath?

We just had a double date and the other man was drinking beer and I got a whiff of his beer breath when we said our goodbyes. It made me thank God my husband doesn’t drink beer. I don’t see how breath like that doesn’t kill any and all romanticism.
