Accounting sucks. Endless hours and always understaffed because we don't bring in sales.

HR? Hahaha. I've had a 30 year HR career and never been strictly 9 - 5. I'm not saying it's the worst, but it's people issues and those don't fit neatly into an 8 hour day.

I happen to work for a professional services firm where we all do timesheets to track billable hours for those whose hours are billable. Mine are not but since I track them, I know how my hours compare to those of our consultants. I work as many hours as the most busy of them, which is around 3300 - 3400 hours/year.

Fortunately, I like the work I do. But the PP is right, it's like the post office.

Not if you were #1 or #2 in Astronomer.

Corporate giving and in kind grant dept has best.

I'm a teacher. I envy the PE teachers and the auto-tech teacher.
