I think there is a Hyatt place right down the street from hotel Bethlehem which is nice.

We stayed at the Wilbur Mansion in Bethlehem on a recent visit to Lafayette College. Everything is brand newly renovated. The rooms were really nice, although it was slightly strange because I’m pretty sure we were the only hotel guests that night. (I think this is more the type of place that gets rented out for weddings.) But it was a nice place with a restaurant on the first floor

We thought the old historic district area of Bethlehem was really charming. Lots of non-chain restaurant options that looked nice.

The Moravian parts of historic Bethlehem are a UNESCO World Heritage site. Worth checking out if you're interested in history.

There are quite a few good restaurants along Main Street, which is across the river, on the north side. It is a decent walk (>1 mile) from the Lehigh campus however. There are only a few on the commercial strip (3rd St?) right by campus and those are more student-y.

If the Hotel Bethlehem isn't an option, the Hyatt Place is very nice and you can walk to the shops and restaurants on Main Street.

Hotel Bethlehem is very nice and there are several good restaurants in the Main Street there (across the bridge from the school). We ate at a Thai restaurant that was very good! It’s also nice to drive around historic Bethlehem and see the old steel mansions!

Does she like partying super hard? Experience blacking out? Hope so.

Stay anywhere. It's bethlehem PA, none of it is nice.

Planning a fall visit to Lehigh and would love recs on where to stay, eat etc. Think it would be potentially a good fit for my DD so wants her to enjoy the visit, town etc.
