I would start with the pediatrician, or an orthopedic urgent care.

I am suspecting severs too. But not sure who to see for diagnosis and treatment.

This is what I think. both my kids (and I) had it for a year plus. Went to doctor for the kids and based on what the doctor said and researching online, didn't seem like there was much to do about it but get through it besides activity modification. It did hurt though!

I had this as a kid. Heels hurt all the time and God forbid someone actually pressed on the sides of my heel. My got inflamed from football cleats and it went on for years.

Go to a orthopedist. They can take an xray and confirm the diagnosis.

Rest, ice, advil, and shoe inserts help a lot.

Not to sound silly, but are his shoes worn down? Fit correctly?

My 14 yo gets plantar fasciitis pain when sneakers need replacing!

Pain in the heel area at the back. Shoes are not worn out.

Both feet?

Is it after exercise? Upon waking up? Standing too long?

What is his foot wear - crocs, sneakers, flip flops?

You're not giving a lot of context op.

Both feet.

All the time but worse with activity. Improves with rest.
Footwear crocs, sneakers outside but barefoot inside the house.

Visit a podiatrist - and maybe your pediatrician can recommend one. I developed plantar fasciitis around 13. One thing that helped immensely was stretching with a belt before taking my first step in the morning. Hold one end of the belt in each hand, loop the belt so it is on the ball of the foot, and gently pull back for 30 seconds. Repeat on other foot. Not trying to diagnose without any symptoms, but sometimes it can take a while to get an appointment and that's a cheap and easy stretch that might give a little relief until you get a diagnosis.

My son has been complaining both his feet hurt a lot, has been limping, taking advil etc. Didn’t get hurt, no change in activity. Not sure who he needs to see. Pediatrician? Podiatrist? Orthopedist?
Any suggestions? Thanks.
