In this environment, are there any more jobs for senior level positions like director or executive or SES that are fully remote? Is it a waste to search or hope? Is it all via connections? Any leads on companies?

I’d be willing to do hybrid but have no lived near a metro area in a long time.

I work at a tech company and am pretty senior in a non revenue generating role ($415K+) and a lot of us are remote. Sales, product, and finance go into the office more, but with finance it’s very time dependent.

You just need to stumble onto the right company.
That said, companies are way more empowered to call people back now. Hybrid or fully in office is much more the norm and that will probably keep people who enjoy being remote in their remote jobs for longer/there will be less turnover, so maybe another way in which remote opportunities will be scarcer.

NP… my co is technically still hybrid/full WFH choice. But the reality is that senior people come in PT.

Look into training AIs specific to your field and also contributing field specific data for LLMs.

I'm currently job searching and I keep seeing tons of those positions. The AI companies what experts in certain fields to help train their AIs. All of the jobs I've seen are remote.

And I know I've seen ads for those with legal backgrounds to train AIs.
