240 carryover hours for GS. SESs have higher limits but I don't know what that is.

YOu don't get 6 hours of SL, only AL. it will stay 4 hrs forever.

DW got hers in about 6 weeks this spring. Paid from DOI personnel center.

Annual leave is paid out no matter why you leave.
Sick leave is never paid out but can be reinstated if you return, or in some kinds of retirement it can extend your time in service.

Mime took about 3 months. I left in 2022. Luckily I was starting another job and didn't need the $ immediately but no one told me there would be a significant delay so I was surprised and waiting/ wondering about it.

Agree it's not on the payday schedule. Just showed up in direct deposit.

I recently left the federal government. When will my annual leave be paid out? It’s been two pay periods since I separated and I still haven’t received my AL payout.
