Uh, yes you can. But you have to be willing to intervene using pharmaceuticals. At the first sign of significant hair loss I got on HRT and then insisted that we up my dose many months later. I also take two prescription drugs, that target hair loss and use one topical on my eyebrows.

I’ve been stable for about seven years since menopause began

Look into oral minoxidil. It has worked well for me. I get it from hers.com.

I started the estrogen patch with progesterone pill. My hair hair fall had decreased dramatically. However, after 1 year in, it's starting to fall out again. What is going on? Is my dose to high or too low? This is very distressing. Anyone BTDT?
