I’m the poster who pulled my kid for virtual school. Honestly, I’d see about homebound services but if you can afford it, I’d just fill out the paperwork to homeschool and pay for private tutoring and therapies in the mean time and not bother with FCPS. If you can afford it. The homeschool requirements are minimal. His health is more important right now and you can schedule things on your time when he’s able to.
Then, when he’s ready, you can enroll him back in public school.
