I cannot be certain why that would happen, but I can make a guess. Your IP address belongs to Akamai, a company that operates a content distribution network. I assume that you are using some sort of VPN that uses Akamai's infrastructure. One thing that Akamai does is cache web content. It's possible that either Akamai itself or someone also using Akamai's infrastructure placed outdated versions of some of our pages (like the main index page or whatever page you were viewing) in to the cache. You then loaded those old pages from the cache. It is very strange that this would happen.

Early early in the morning I refreshed the website and was reading 2008 topic titles. It felt like being in a wonderful time traveling book or movie but it went away quickly. I’m just curious about what could cause that to happen?
