We bought Telescope brand furniture from a store that has an outdoor display area with composite decking that was not scratched from any of the furniture they carried. Polywood is too heavy for us so we went with Telescope.

It is not that easy to scratch it.

We have azek not trex and have never worried about scratching but I guess if I did I’d start with trying to put some sort of carpet pads on the furniture feet?

Another vote for Polywood.

Was going to suggest polywood. We love ours.
That stuff is beyond ugly.

OP here - I wanted an outdoor carpet but recommendation from trex is not to use it as it traps moisture.

Outdoor carpeting placed under the table might be an option.

We’re building a trex deck and we want to buy a new patio table and chairs. We are concerned about the table and chairs scratching the deck. Is there a patio table brand that would be best for trex? If not, how do you keep the deck from scratching?
