Jcrew and banana republic have good basic suit jackets and pants that would work. A black or navy one that is classic that you feel good in.

If you have a basic navy suit, I think it's fine to rewear and just change your shell and accessories (scarf one day, necklace the next). Or if you're buying one new basic navy suit, get one blazer with matching pants and sheath dress or skirt so you can switch it up slightly. Yoy can expand your new wardrobe when you have a job offer in hand.

Dress with a blazer, uber to interview and have time to freshen up before the interview. If do pant suit, look for a light weight wool.

Carry the blazer (obviously) and it will hide all sins when you get there (like underarms).

Extra time is a good idea. I don't have any dresses I feel confident in for this particular situation. Mine I fear are too casual.

It's been a long time since I've interviewed with people I've never met in an office I've never worked with or adjacent to. I don't even know where to shop in case anyone has tips for a 49 year old 5'2" size 8-10 busty female.

I typically metro to downtown and wear light skirts or dresses and throw on a blazer or cardigan once in the office if the AC is up high. My workplaces have been fairly casual but I'm interviewing at a more formal organization. My guess is I need a suit. Men manage this but they're also not having occasional hot flashes.

Should I suck it up and buy a pants suit and Uber to the interviews to not be sweaty on the metro? It's multiple days, so do I need to buy multiple suits? Or is just wearing a different blouse enough?
