Thanks so much for this - hugely helpful. One Arlington and Thompson Boat Center are definitely within striking distance for us. And yes - the HS she is headed to has a girls crew program but the culture doesn't seem great - so looking for something fun elsewhere.

Most area hs programs are pressure-cookers at a minimum.

All are too political, with coaches playing favorites as to who gets into the top boats.
