The best rides are probably Geat Bear and Cademonium. I also like comet and the racers but those are old wooden ones so some don’t like those. Sky Rush is incredibly fast and I find it somewhat uncomfortable because the back support isn’t great.

The indoor shooting ride themed on Reese’s is very fun.

My favorite place to get lunch is Moe’s cantina. It is food I would actually eat outside an amusement park. There is also often an okay empanadas trick and my daughter likes the açaí place.

Try to get thee early! For a one day trip I would skip the chocolate museum and just do the park. If the lines are too long, the zoo is cute.

Use a neck strap for your phone. Tuck it under your shirt when riding roller coasters. You could also use it in the water since it is waterproof.

Be aware most coasters have 1 hr lines in sweltering heat. They sell lemonade IN LINE.

Water park closes for thunder so, afternoon with recent humidity you are likely seeing thunderstorms. So do it by lunch time.

It’s like 100F degree heat index. Spend the day at the water park and next time go in early June for roller coasters.

We do water park at the end of the day (later afternoon. We always leave by 7pm to drove back to dc) because i always feels sweaty and it feels nice to cool off b4 driving home. We put our water park stuff in a locker in the morning.

We don’t go without a Fast Trak. I refuse to go all that way and then end up with the kids riding, say, only 3 rides because of the lines.

Get the roller coasters in before it rains. If I recall, there is at least one that doesn't run in even light rain because it's so fast the rain is painful when it pelts people on the ride.

You can make dinner recommendations at Chocolatier. In the park. And nice air conditioned break!

If you stay in a hotel consider Hershey lodge which has a great indoor pool for kids. Hershey hotel is better if you want to run into fewer kids in the indoor and outdoor pools, with more premium hotel food options.

The Zoo is tiny and won’t take more than a hour. Be aware that the Chocolate World is not run by Hershey so if you have a Hershey gift card it won’t work there.

Fast track and cabana great ideas if you have the funds. Try the new ride, Twisted Twizzlers Gravity, a huge swing that can’t be missed visually. Wildcats revenge and Candymonium are the newest coasters and I love them both. Suggest wearing water shorts and tops that can get wet and you can quickly move to water park when you want a break from the heat and back to rides. The park gets busier as day progresses so go first to the place your family is most interested in.

We always pay extra for Fast Track. Never regretted it. On day 2 we would book a cabana. It is nice because around lunch time you can take a break there and order food from a dedicated waiter. No lines for food.

Chocolate World opens an hour earlier than the rest of the park, so do that first (unless you’re staring at Hershey Lodge/Hotel Hershey and qualify for “Sweet Start.”) Skip the zoo. It’s for burning time when you have little kids who aren’t tall enough for rides. I would prioritize Laff Trakk only because it has low capacity, so it has a longer line than most and Breakers water coaster for similar reasons. Monday wait times at Hershey likely won’t be bad, though.

The food at Hershey is food. You pick a place that’s nearby when you’re hungry and eat there. It’s all very forgettable.
